Dr Lway Nackasha is a leading expert in quality and organisational excellence. He has directed a number of prestigious national and regional excellence awards such as Dubai Quality Award, Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award and the Middle East Excellence Award. In 2002 he also instigated the Dubai Service Excellence Scheme, a scheme targeting the retail sector in the UAE. The scheme includes more than 1200 shops representing the top 150 brands operating in Dubai.

Dr Nackasha holds a PhD degree in Quality Management from the Queen's University of Belfast, UK. He also holds a Masters and Bachelor degree in Engineering from the UK.
